Contribute to the development of reports that articulate program results and impact (i.e., grant applications and/or evaluation reports, annual reports, etc.).Manage project budget and track key performance indicators related to Summit.Work cross-functionally with all internal teams including Partnerships & Development and Activation, and provide advice and support to the CivicAction leadership team.Manage the overall volunteer and stakeholder experience related to Summit.Actively build meaningful and trusted relationships with participants, volunteers, partners, and stakeholders.Lead the development of the event’s agenda and the design of the overall participant experience.Lead the development of the sequence of events leading up to the Summit.Work with staff and key partners to frame issues, determine desired outcomes, and determine the appropriate tactics to achieve those outcomes.Develop and execute a consultation plan involving key partners and stakeholders to determine Summit themes and the overall Summit experience.Working with CivicAction staff, develop the invitation strategies and execute against it.Working with CivicAction staff, identify and secure potential speakers and subject matter experts to support delivery of Summit and associated events.Maintain the core project plan, and source/coordinate all logistics related to the event(s) including venues, catering, AV, signage, etc.This position is responsible for the design, delivery, and evaluation of the CivicAction 2023 Summit, in addition to all supporting events and meetings leading up to the Summit, and all related elements. Interest and/or familiarity with civic/community issues in the GTHA is an asset.Three or more years of relevant work or volunteer experience is an asset, particularly in the areas of project management and event planning.Time in lieu is tracked/granted for work undertaken in the evenings and on weekends with prior approval from the position manager. This position may involve some evening and weekend work.CivicAction’s physical offices are in downtown Toronto and technology will be provided to support both in-office and remote work.
